Following the success of both the Community brochure and the 'Onside' brand, Air were commissioned by Gloucester Rugby to design a permanent exhibition for the new Kingsholm Stadium. The purpose of the exhibition was not only to showcase the club's rich heritage and find a home for the historical artifacts that had accumulated since the clubs inception in 1873 but also to create an exhibition of educational value and 'local history' appeal. It was a given that the displays would be of huge interest to a loyal 'cherry and white' fan but as the project was funded in part by The National Lottery Heritage Fund it required that its appeal extend to the entire Gloucester community.

Working closely throughout the project with Gloucester Rugby's Community Manager we provided a complete service that encompassed research, collation and writing of content, photography of artifacts for inclusion in the artwork, art direction and design of the displays and procurement and management of the production and installation.

The exhibition was completed on schedule for the start of the rugby season in September 2009 and has been met with a fantastic response from both the club, its players and its fans and the local community. An extensive website was launched in December by members of the Heritage volunteer group making the heritage project accessible to the general public as an online resource and encourages contributions and involvement from the public. The heritage project continues into its next phase as Air Creative commence production of promotional and educational literature and further online educational resources.
