We were asked to promote an initiative by Swindon Primary Care Trust and swindon borough council to encourage patients to use self-help books as prescribed by their gp. Our main consideration was to present the literature in a plain-speaking manner, accessible to everyone. The solution was to design an 'open book' graphic used together with 'anonymous' photography.
Further projects have included creation of the Annual Report 06/07 which has been incredibly well-received by staff and the local community. The design was quite a departure from the reports of previous years and whilst adhering to NHS guidelines managed to convey a lively, well considered and approachable feel.
